We, at Kesaran, love Kimono fabrics - the feel, the way they drape and their unique patterns and design. Kesaran has been created out of the desire to source quality Japanese Kimono fabric, which until now has been rather  difficult in New Zealand. ​

Kimono is the traditional costume worn in Japan. The kimono fabrics are beautiful and unique. The patterns and designs tell stories of the culture and history of Japan. We have lovingly gathered a collection of both new and vintage kimono fabrics selected both for their aesthetic and for their stories.
